Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has said that the state is one of the best destinations for investments in India today. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Day 2 of his visit, the Chief Minister invited global industrialists to visit Andhra Pradesh and see the opportunities for themselves.
Addressing a special breakfast session on the theme “The Andhra Pradesh Advantage,” organised by CII, Chandrababu Naidu said Andhra Pradesh offers a strong and supportive environment for businesses. He asked investors to observe the state’s policies and speed of doing business before making investment decisions. According to him, Andhra Pradesh is emerging as a major market and a preferred choice for investors.
Naidu said India is moving towards becoming a global power by 2047, and Andhra Pradesh aims to be at the forefront of that journey. He highlighted that a significant share of foreign investments coming into India has been attracted by Andhra Pradesh. Sectors such as green energy, technology, fuel alternatives, digital infrastructure, logistics, and manufacturing were identified as key focus areas for future growth.
Chandrababu Naidu spoke about major initiatives in the state, including green ammonia projects, large technology investments, and efforts to strengthen the Andhra Pradesh brand globally. He also mentioned plans for developing space related infrastructure, ports, airports, and better highway connectivity. These projects, he said, will support long term industrial growth.
The Chief Minister added that the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh is working closely with investors and offering full support. He noted that drones are already being used in agriculture and healthcare, and the state is planning to launch drone ambulance services in 2026. Andhra Pradesh’s long coastline, along with its ports and airports, was described as a major strength.
Speaking about governance, Chandrababu Naidu said he has been attending the Davos forum for many years and uses the platform to learn from global experts and industry leaders. He said understanding global trends helps in designing better policies and making the state more business friendly. He also highlighted India’s strong youth population and leadership as key advantages.
The session was attended by senior industry leaders, including representatives from national and international companies. After the event, the Chief Minister personally interacted with several industrialists, reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s message as a welcoming and business friendly state.
With a clear focus on technology, infrastructure, and policy support, Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a strong destination for global investments.
