Andhra Pradesh has gone from a non-functional IT minister who was questioning the need for investments, to a proactive minister like Nara Lokesh. The TDP minister is always on the job and particularly saw during the ongoing WEF summit in Davos.
Lokesh had a very eventful and productive day yesterday at the summit as he had multiple meetings with some of the biggest business heads globally.
Lokesh first met Indian entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath at the summit, and these two talented next-generation lads had an elongated conversation on multiple topics.
Lokesh then met Yukio Kani, Global CEO & Chairman of the Japanese energy major JERA and invited JERA to invest in green ammonia production near AP’s port-led industrial clusters to serve Japan and Asian markets.
Then came a meeting with Kevin Martin, Vice President & Global Head of Policy at Meta, in Davos. They discussed scaling data centre capacity in Visakhapatnam aligned with Meta’s global infrastructure needs, setting up a Reality Labs–focused Centre of Excellence with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub.
Lokesh had a nice closure to his day as he met Chandrasekaran, chairman Tata sons during the night walk. He took the opportunity to give him a quick update on the tata group projects in AP and seek some directional guidance.
