Sabarimala Ayyappa Gold Theft: Modi Makes Huge Statement!

Back in 2019, a huge controversy broke out after it was found out that gold ornaments and items were missing at the holy Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. It was alleged that around 4.5 kg of gold was mishandled and burgled in this horrifying incident. 

The Kerala government had constituted an SIT to investigate the case, and even the enforcement directorate started to nab the culprits while categorically investigating the matter. 

Today, Prime Minister Modi made a huge statement on the Gold theft that had allegedly happened at this Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple. He stated that individuals associated with this incident will be tracked and jailed once BJP forms the government in Kerala. 

Modi said the BJP would investigate the gold theft case on top priority and send the culprit to jail once the party forms the government in Kerala. He added that he would personally oversee the investigation.

It is evident that the BJP is also highlighting the Sabarimala issue to strengthen its prospects in Kerala. This incident could have a positive impact among a section of Hindu voters as the state heads toward elections.
