Viral Video: TDP MP Shakes Parliament

Telugu Desam party has had historic representation at the Parliament over the last four decades, and this was on brilliant display as a new MP from the party Krishna Prasad Tenneti shook the house yesterday. 

Incidentally, TDP MP Tenneti Krishna Prasad was the presiding speaker in the Parliament yesterday, and he lived up to his fierce reputation as he took the Congress MPs to the cleaners. 

During a ruckus in Lok Sabha, Chairperson Krishna Prasad reprimanded Congress MP KC Venugopal for using the word “yaar” while addressing the Chair, calling it inappropriate parliamentary language.

Krishna Prasad is an IPS officer by profession and he had served as the DGP of Telangana as well. With his strong academic record, he is absolutely versed with the technicalities of the system and he subsequently didn’t allow any disrespect from the opposition MPs. 

The videos of the TDP MP from Bapatla shaking the Parliament with his strong approach are now going viral on social media.

When I was in the chair, somebody from the opposition was calling the chair as “yaar” which is objectionable in any House of Representatives.

The response I got is, what is wrong in saying “yaar” In continuation of that, and some of them came to the table and started tearing papers and throwing, which is again objectionable, he said in this matter.
