Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan has once again shown why many people find it hard to dislike him, regardless of political differences. Treating the welfare of Pithapuram as a personal responsibility, he stepped in to support two orphaned children and secure their future.
The children, from Madhavapuram village in Pithapuram mandal, lost their father two years ago and recently their mother. Left with no proper shelter and no financial backing, they were struggling to survive. Their situation came to public attention through a video message shared on social media. The video reached Pawan Kalyan, and he responded without delay.
He directed his office to provide financial assistance of Rs 5,000 per month to each child from his own salary, ensuring Rs 10,000 monthly support for the siblings. Beyond immediate relief, he also ordered the construction of a permanent house for them at the earliest.
Understanding that long term security matters more than temporary aid, he instructed officials to admit the children into government residential schools and colleges from the next academic year so their education continues without disruption. The Kakinada District Collector has been assigned to closely monitor the entire process and ensure proper implementation.
This is not the first time he has taken such an initiative. He has already been extending financial support to several orphaned children in the constituency. By adding these two children to that list, he reinforced his image as a leader who responds personally when people are in distress.
Political debates may continue, and criticism is natural in public life. But when a public representative steps forward to provide shelter, monthly support, and a secure educational path to orphaned children, it creates an emotional connect that goes beyond politics. For many supporters, this is exactly why you simply cannot hate Pawan Kalyan.
