Hyderabad has relatively better roads when compare compared to other metropolitan cities in South India. But Telangana chief minister CM Revanth Reddy is not fully satisfied with the same as he warrant serious consequences to GHMC officials, if good road conditions are not maintained.
Chief minister Revanth Reddy interacted with municipal administration officials yesterday and discussed the detailed plan to enforce top quality roads in the city.
This is the first time that the Corporation officials met after the board was split into three different parts namely Cyberabad, Malkajgiri and Hyderabad. As expected, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was very hands-on in his approach and warned officials of serious consequences.
If the roads in the Hyderabad urban region are found to be untidy and disoriented, then the concerned authority and officials will be fired on the spot, Revanth Reddy stated.
He called for consistent coordination between the top administrative officials and executive officers to ensure proper functioning of the municipal department.
There are several parts in the city, which need serious sanitation and repair works, and it is good to see chief minister Revanth Reddy warning officials of serious consequences if these demands aren’t met.
