Kakinada witnessed one of its first human disasters as an explosion at the fireworks factory in Vetlapalem resulted in the deaths of over 20 individuals. While the severity of the incident is shocking, the government administration got on the job almost immediately.

In fact, the chief minister and the deputy chief minister got on the ground almost immediately after getting to know about this incident and here we have one such picture that demonstrates the sincerity. 

Incidentally, chief minister Chandra Babu had just completed the tour of the affected areas and announced a compensation of ₹20,00,000 to each of the affected family members. On top of that, the chief minister added that the properties of the culprit will be attached and dissolved to further help the victims.

It is evident that chief minister Chandrababu is extremely critical of this situation and is willing to teach the culprits a strong lesson.

On the other hand, the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had also immediately arrived at the Rajahmundry airport after learning about this incident. Considering the timing of this visit, he happened to come across chief minister Chandrababu, and the two of them had an interaction at the airport itself.

During the previous YCP regime, there was no active moment from the government administration, let alone the presence of the chief minister on the ground.

But now we have the under administration, including the CM, DCM, concerned cabinet ministers on ground zero from start to finish, remarked a social media observer.
