How US-Iran War Affecting Indian Kitchen?

The ongoing war in the Middle East involving the United States, Israel and Iran has now become a cause of concern globally. Parallelly, there has been speculations about the possible spike in petrol and diesel prices due to the restrained supply and we are starting to observe the effects of the same. 

And now, according to the latest developments, the Indian refineries has spike the prices of LPG gas cylinders last midnight. There has been a significant hike in the LPG cylinders prices and let’s have a look into the same. 

The prices of LPG cylinders, both domestic and commercial were hiked last night upto Rs 60 and Rs 114 respectively. 

In Hyderabad, 14.2 Kg cylinder of cooking gas now costs ₹960 each as compared to ₹905 previously, while 19 kg commercial cylinder price increased by ₹114.00 from ₹1996.50 to ₹2110.50.

These new prices will come to affect immediately, and all cylinders purchased from today will arrive with elevated prices. This sudden sharp rise in gas prices is being objected by the common folk but there’s very little we can do about it. 

It appears that the war in the Middle East, which is the natural hub for oil and natural energy resources is starting to directly affect the Indian kitchens. It might not be too long before the petrol and diesel prices are also hiked if the situation doesn’t get better in Iran.
