YCP Permanently Closed the Door for Balineni?

Ongole politics took a big twist after Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, who is a distant relative of YS Jagan and a senior leader from the region moved away from YSR Congress. He quickly left Jagan camp after the 2024 election and joined Janasena.

In the meanwhile, there have been reports about Srinivasa Reddy’s participation in Janasena activities. In the early stages of his time at the Pawan Kalyan party, he took part in several events and meetings. But he had gone rather silent over the last few months, which has led to a series of political speculations.

On that note, there has been a recent talk in the political circles that the senior leader could be dissatisfied with the lack of accreditation that he is getting in Janasena and could be potentially plotting a move back to YCP. 

However, Balineni seems to have noticed that the YCP may have closed the doors for him. He came up with a new social media post that appears to indirectly address the rumours and ongoing speculation surrounding his political future.

Earlier, Balineni shared a couple of pictures of himself and his son with the deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan, and came up with an interesting caption for the same.  

“He is not just a leader to us… Trust, support, shelter” he wrote. This is perhaps an indication of the fact that he is still in good terms with Pawan Kalyan, and wishes is to continue with this camp in the future as well. 

On the other hand, Jagan has also indirectly confirmed the Ongole Assembly seat to Ravi Babu, who has been with the party for a long time. This was evident in his meeting last afternoon, and the repercussions are likely to be in Ongole politics. 

As things stand, it appears that Srinivasa Reddy’s time in YR Congress is done and dusted as he wishes to continue with Pawan Kalyan in the foreseeable future.
