Jagan Proposed ‘MAVIGUN’ As Capital Instead Of Amaravati

Lok Sabha passed the Amendment to AP Reorganization Act with a Voice Note. Except for YSR Congress, all the Parties supported Amaravati. On expected lines, YSR Congress MPs confined to saying Amaravati is untenable, Corruption, etc.

Meanwhile, Jagan Mohan Reddy called for a Pressmeet at the same time and was saying the Same Things. During his Pressmeet, he even proposed a Plan B for the Capital.

The Capital called MA-VI-GUN is the area from Machilipatnam, Vijayawada, and Guntur. Jagan says the area is already developed and so just renaming it as the Capital Region would simply do.

Everyone is Surprised by this Idea. However, Jagan has a clear plan with this Proposal.

All of his Pressmeet is in complete negative to Amaravati. He wants to send a message to the People of Krishna and Guntur districts that he is not against the region but is only opposing Amaravati.

He is trying to limit the damage to the villages that gave lands to Amaravati. He himself is aware that Plan B at this stage does not make any sense.

Meanwhile, People on Social Media are mocking Jagan’s MAVIGUN idea and are questioning who would name their capital on Guns and Swords unless someone has the Faction Mindset.
