ABN RK in his Weekend Op-Ed flayed Jagan Mohan Reddy’s MA-VI-GUN Idea and said Chandrababu Naidu is lucky to have an opponent like Jagan Mohan Reddy.
“Jagan Mohan Reddy is surrounded by YSR Congress followers who would agree if Jagan Reddy pointed at a pig and called it a bull, or pointed at a bull and called it a pig. The number of people within that party who actually use their own brains is steadily dwindling. To back up the YCP leaders, the Paytm Batch is always at the ready. When Jagan Reddy built himself a palace in Tadepalli, they propagated the notion that that very location was the capital city. Later dismissing that idea entirely, when the concept of three capitals was floated, they jumped for joy in support. Now that even that idea has been discarded, and the term MA-VI-GUN has been introduced, they are cheering and rejoicing with unbridled enthusiasm. Anyone with a head on their shoulders and at least a modicum of grey matter inside it would recoil in disgust at the absurdity of the word ‘MAVIGUN’ but the followers are different,” RK wrote.
In the wake of this “Mavigan” proposal, we are witnessing a level of trolling directed at Jagan Reddy unlike anything seen in recent times. Social media is now rife with trolling that portrays Jagan and his associates as a collective of lunatics. As for Jagan Reddy’s own “filthy media” brigade, their behavior goes without saying; engaging in sheer self-delusion, they are attempting to claim that everyone is talking about ‘Mavigan’. They are making a concerted effort to convince the public that intellectuals and economists actually view this concept as a beneficial one. Anyone possessing even a modicum of intellect or wisdom ought to have advised against meddling in the capital city issue. Instead, observing their eagerness to endorse the absurd proposal dubbed ‘Mavigan,’ one cannot help but suspect that Jagan Reddy is surrounded by a coterie of ‘friendly enemies’,” RK added.

RK also had a stern message for Chandrababu Naidu.
“If the capital city of Amaravati is bustling with offices, institutions, and people, then individuals like Jagan Reddy, even if they come to power will be powerless to undermine it. Chandrababu must take measures to ensure that, after 2029, the development of Amaravati proceeds on “auto-mode.” Rather than merely celebrating the passing of the Amaravati Bill, one must recognize that the battle is not yet won. Also mere laying of the groundwork does not constitute the final victory. Henceforth, development works in Amaravati must proceed with redoubled speed. The sentiment that Amaravati is a “People’s Capital” must be widely disseminated; only then will there be no room for malevolent forces like Maricha and Subahu,” RK said.
