Andhra Pradesh is currently witnessing a very stable and sound government in the form of the NDA coalition. The three main parties in the political spear, including TDP, BJP, and Janasena are extremely solid when it comes to upholding the alliance spirit regardless of the internal politics.
On that note, Nara Lokesh made a very interesting comment while interacting with TDP cadres yesterday. He spoke about the time when the deputy CM Pawan Kalyan personally called him and corrected him.
“There was this one conclave that I was attending, and they asked me if the NDA would return to power in 2029. I confidently affirmed them that we would be definitely staying in power in 2029. The next day, Pawan Anna called me and asked why I said only 2029, he said we will be in power for 3 terms and I should’ve spoken as such in the conclave.” Lokesh said.
It is evident that Kalyan himself is so very consolidated with the alliance that he is actively discussing with Lokesh about remaining in power for three terms. This is a very positive sign for the alliance prospect as they very well know the consequences of splitting up which happened in 2019 and how it ended for each of those parties and they’ve learnt a lesson from it.
Another positive observation here is that Kalyan appears to have established a direct line of contact and communication with Lokesh, who is now destined for bigger things.
At a time when TDP and also the NDA government is preparing for transitional changes that could possibly coming up in the next few years, this line of communication between Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan could prove to be crucial.
