Tamil Nadu is preparing for its Assembly election in less than a week from now as the polling is scheduled to be held on April 23, and the results will be out on May 4.
The BJP has consolidated the alliance with AIDMK and multiple other parties in Tamil Nadu as they firmly believe that the NDA has a real shot at gaining power in the state this term.
So naturally, Telugu Desam is doing everything and its power to grab the attention of the voters and gain significant public momentum during the election. They are deploying their best possible resources for the election campaigning and have approached Andhra Pradesh, CM Chandrababu now.
Chandrababu will reportedly be flying from Amaravati to Coimbatore tomorrow, where he will be visiting multiple Assembly segments across the Southern part of Tamil Nadu and campaign for NDA.
For those who don’t already know, there are several plural and urban pockets in Tamil Nadu, which have a significant volume of Telugu population and they have the highest regard for Chandrababu. The NDA is looking to maximise this by deploying Chandrababu for their election campaign in parts of Tamil Nadu in the last leg of election.
Chandrababu will be in action for NDA in Tamil Nadu on 20 and 21, which happened to be the very last days for the exciting campaigning in the state. This is intended to generate the last-minute momentum for the alliance.
If Pawan Kalyan was fit and available, even he might have been deployed for the election campaign, but he had undergone a surgery yesterday and is briefly unavailable as he needs to rest. But nevertheless, the veteran Chandrababu will be in action for now.
