Former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao addressed a Public Meeting for the first time in about an year in Jagtial on Monday. It was arranged on the occasion of Senior Leader Jeevan Reddy joining the Party.
The meeting comes days ahead of his daughter Kavitha announcing a new political party. All eyes were on KCR’s speech to see if he will talk anything about Kavitha and her party.
KTR also skipped the meeting so that there is undivided attention on the BRS Supremo. But then, something unexpected has happened.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cut short the eyeballs and media coverage to KCR by have another Public meeting at the same time.
The Chief Minister addressed a public meeting at Nasturapally to launch the second instalment of Rythu Bharosa.
Obviously, the media attention is clearly divided. Revanth Reddy’s Speech has started at the same time of KCR’s Speech.
It does not looks like a coincidence and probably, Revanth Reddy and his team planned it like that.
Both the leaders fired salvos at each other.
KCR significantly cut down his public appearances and political assignments after the 2023 Assembly elections defeat. Some say his health is also not co-operating.
He is not going to the Assembly as well. No one knows when he will attend a Public meeting next.
So, Revanth Reddy delivered a big blow.
