YSRCP MLC Ananthababu is facing serious trouble in the driver murder case. The case is about the death of his driver Subrahmanyam. Now the court is about to frame charges on April 24 and 25. This is a key step that will decide how the case moves forward.
The main issue now is not just the murder case. A new allegation has come out that Ananthababu tried to pressure key witnesses. These witnesses are very important for the case. Reports say four witnesses were taken to a place and forced to support him.
They were offered money and also threatened. Each person was allegedly promised more than Rs 3 lakh and Rs 1 lakh was given in advance. They were told to speak in his favor in court.
Police came to know about this and reached the spot. Ananthababu reportedly escaped from there on a bike, leaving his car behind.
Police later confirmed the incident and filed a new case. His close associate Maganti Rambabu has been arrested.
Now the big risk for Ananthababu is his bail. The court had already warned that trying to influence witnesses can cancel bail. Police have started steps to cancel it.
If that happens, Ananthababu may go back to jail and his situation will become more serious.
