When a Pujari or a person of worship is under the central contract of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board, he is expected to follow certain principles and protocols. This includes prior permissions before attending private events at a personal capacity.
However, this simple regulation was put to rest when YS Jagan arrived in Pulivendula this week. Incidentally, multiple Pujaris had gone from the famous Ontimitta Temple to bless Jagan at this his residence.
The concerned pujaris Shravan Kumar, Manoj Kumar, K Parthasarathy and others who had gone from the Ontimitta temple didn’t take prior permission from the TTD authorities. This is against the protocol that is to be followed by the Pujaris who are under the TTD wing.
Subsequently, the TTD has called for reciprocal action against these individuals and had asked for their explanation in 2 days.
YCP has been spreading the narrative that the ruling administration and the TTD authorities are making a meal of this issue by troubling Pujaris who blessed Jagan. But in reality, a very simple protocol and regulation was also not followed in the process, which has naturally invited reciprocal action from the board.
