Something extremely interesting happened in Telangana politics today as KCR’s daughter, Kavita, who is aspiring a political career of her own, launched her new party.
Interestingly, Kavita announced that her political party is named TRS, Telangana Rashtra Sena. It is evident that she has taken the earlier TRS name from the BRS and strategically used this legacy name to her advantage.
Another important factor here is that the BRS leadership had reportedly been contemplating the area of switching back to TRS, and this has been blocked by Kavita now as she announced TRS as her new party name already.
Now this development has triggered a serious reaction from the BRS as the party’s official social media handle trolled Kavitha on this matter.
“Original is original forever” BRS wrote in Telugu and they even shared a couple of pictures of popular brands like Colgate and Bisleri having duplicate items in the market. The BRS is trying to clearly brand BRS as the original product while Kavitha’s TRS is a cheap copy of the same.
It appears that the official rivalry between Kavita and the BRS leadership has officially started from today on the occasion of the announcement of TRS. This could take new shapes and forms in the days to follow as the KCR family indulge in a heated verbal fight.
