Kavitha Targets KCR, YSR Congress Cadres Get Hurt

Kalvakuntla Kavitha announced her new party: Telangana Rashtra Sena (TRS). As expected, she aims to stir Telangana sentiment by using the popular name ‘TRS’. Also, some BRS votes may shift due to confusion caused by the similar name.

This development comes only days after KTR announced he would look into the possibility of reverting from BRS to the TRS name.

In her announcement video speech, Kavitha launched a scathing attack on the BRS and did not even spare her father.

She said that KCR changed from ‘Mana Manishi’ to ‘Mara Manishi’. She said KCR no longer have the heart he used to have during the agitation days. She questioned where is KCR when people are suffering citing many examples.

She also criticized that the BRS Party’s only agenda is to confine KCR to farmhouse and so that the others can rule. This is the first time Kavitha went aggressive against KCR.

BRS Party is naturally hurt and the party’s social media teams are already trolling back Kavitha.

Even as the speech was happening, BRS tweeted images of Colgate Paste and Kinley water bottles alongside their counterfeits from its official handle with the caption: “Original is Original”. That only indicates she ruffled the feathers very badly.

On the other hand, YSR Congress cadres got equally hurt with Kavitha attacking KCR.

“Setting aside the question of who is right and who is wrong. Regardless of the reasons, she went against her father and brother to launch a political party, Kavitha should set aside ‘Kalvakuntla’ surname and use her husband’s surname. Adopting her husband’s surname will also be a way of showing him respect,” they are tweeting.

The friendship of BRS and YSR Congress is well known. BRS was in Government when the 2019 elections were happening in Andhra Pradesh. It was an open-secret that KCR helped Jagan in that election.

Later, Jagan repaid that by giving back AP buildings in Telangana Secretariat unconditionally. He also did not oppose the Kaleshwaram Project.

Their friendship continues even today although they are not much vocal. So, the social media teams of both the parties help each other.

Also, this issue is much similar to theirs. Jagan is also facing heat from his sister, and they are trying to pull Sharmila down by saying she should drop her ‘YS’ surname and adopt Brother Anil Kumar’s Morusupalli Surname.

So, they instantly connected to this issue.
