YSR Congress seems to be obsessed with associating themselves with Vijay after the Superstar won Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections.
The entire Social Media teams were trying to own Vijay and the Victory as their own as if it is like both the parties contested elections together.
Previously, they were circulating the pictures and videos of Jagan and Vijay together and were making big claims.
A few months ago, Jagan and Vijay met at a wedding and both of them were seen sitting side by side and exchanging pleasantries.
Today, they were circulating a message that Vijay personally called Jagan and invited him for the Swearing-in ceremony tomorrow. They say Jagan could not attend the event since he is in an abroad vacation.
It is unlikely that Vijay invited Jagan Mohan Reddy for the swearing-in ceremony because he is taking the support of Congress to form the Government. We all know the gap between Jagan and Congress.
Recently, after the five state elections, Jagan posted a message on X wishing Vijay and offered his sympathies to Mamata Banarjee. He also congratulated the BJP and did not mention Congress and said ‘Others’.
Congress-led alliance won the elections in Kerala but Jagan did not wish them. Vijay would not invite Jagan Mohan Reddy and snub Congress.
That aside, Vijay reportedly never really had any relation with Jagan. They just had a casual chat at a wedding. YSR Congress Social Media were just amplifying to get a share of credit in Vijay’s success.
There is a popular saying – “Success has many fathers but failure is an orphan”.
It highlights the human tendency to associate with triumph while abandoning accountability for mistakes, often leaving failures without a responsible owner. YSR Congress is just following the same.
