Big Day: Rahul for Vijay, Modi for Pawan!

South Indian politics have taken the spotlight like never before, thanks to Tamil Nadu election results which had witnessed everything a political commercial potboiler would feature. Now, it is time for climax as Thalapathy Vijay is set to be sworn in as the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu today morning at 10 AM.

In fact, it will be a big day for politics because both the Prime Minister and Leader of Opposition will be in South India to attend different events.

While Leader of Opposition will attend the swearing in ceremony of Vijay in Chennai today morning at 10 AM, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to pay a courtesy visit to Pawan Kalyan’s residence later today after completing his official programs in Hyderabad to wish him a speedy recovery.

This high-profile coincidence will have a strong bearing on the future of poltics in South states because both Pawan Kalyan and Thalapathy Vijay are set to play instrumental roles in both the national parties, which are making efforts to consolidate their impact in South India with the help of alliances.

While Pawan Kalyan has already emerged as the face of the National Democratic Alliance in South with his Sanatana Dharma ideology, Vijay is now set to represent the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA bloc) led by Congress.

Both Pawan Kalyan and Vijay have some many similarities when it comes to cinematic charisma and fan following. In politics, Pawan Kalyan has already started to build his political identity through his administrative decisions and party related activities.

Vijay has just made a blockbuster debut with his resounding electoral success and will take up a big role to steer Tamil Nadu through various challenges.

In the run-up to 2029 Lok Sabha elections, both these young dynamic leaders will have a strong role to play in the political battle between NDA and INDIA bloc. It will be a big litmus test for both Pawan and Vijay to prove their political mettle beyond their on-screen persona in the coming days.
