Tamil cinema star Vijay has successfully become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu and this is a dream come true moment for his fans and supporters. But this is just half of the story, and there is something big coming up shortly.
Vijay is instructed by the Tamil Nadu governor to prove his strength in the Assembly before May 13, and this is the next challenge in front of him.
Vijay has submitted in principle that he has the support of 120 MLAs in the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly, and he will need to prove this number in the floor test by this Wednesday.
Considering the support from the Congress, CPI, CPM and VCK, Vijay is bound to prove his strength on the floor comfortably. But until the formal procedure is completed, and the numbers are established, it is going to be a tough waiting period for Vijay and his party top brass.
The floor test is going to be that much more tougher on paper, considering the fact that Vijay must uphold the support of multiple small parties to keep things going. This is a much easier task said than done, and Vijay will need to do a lot of work to maintain the moment.
Also, this will be the first time that Vijay will be entering the Assembly hall, and he will already be facing the challenge of establishing his support in the house. These are going to be extremely challenging and testing periods for Vijay without a doubt.
