Telangana politics have found a new focal point of discussion after union minister Bandi Sanjay’s son, Bhagirath is named in a POCSO case. Telangana government is furious on this matter and chief Minister Revanth Reddy constituted multiple special teams to fast track the investigation.
The latest update from the team that is investigating, the matter is that the youngster has been absconding for the last three days, and his whereabouts are undisclosed.
It is established that Bhagirath has switched off his mobile phone and is completely off the grid. This is making it extremely hard for the police department to track and trace him down.
However, this is a matter of great pride and social justice as far as chief minister, Revanth Reddy is concerned, say neutral observers. There is already a widespread notion that the Telangana government must not spare anyone who is in the wrong in this case.
Any sort of leniency or lighthearted action result in severe public backlash, and it appears that Revanth Reddy is aware of the same. Even Media experts are commenting that Revanth Reddy cannot back down from this case, regardless of the political pressures as justice needs to be served.
Even the BJP high command, including Telangana president Ramchander Rao have dissociated from this incident as they are saying that it has nothing to do with the party. So the legal consequences could be pretty significant now for the concerned individuals.
