CM For 10 Years But Doesn’t Have Own House!

This year’s Assembly election had a lot of surprise factor associated with it as multiple chief ministers ended up losing their offices and falling to drastic positions. Once such senior leader, who faced a pathetic situation is the outgoing CM of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan.

Vijayan was leading the LDF outfit in Kerala for many years now, and he was the chief minister of the state since 2016. He was an integral part of the administration for the last decade and was seen as the primary phase of the left party.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that Vijayan who had lost the government in the recent Assembly election has done something very interesting.

Apparently, Vijay does not have an own House for himself and he had to search for a rented house after losing the election. He was using the official chief minister’s residence free of cost for the last 10 years and he is now having to vacate the same.

Reportedly the outgoing chief minister found himself a satisfactory rented house near the bakery Junction in Trivandrum and is moving there by paying monthly rent.

Despite serving as the chief minister of a well settled state like Kerala for a decade, Vijayan does not have an own house, had to search for rented property. This is perhaps a reflection of the left party spirit where corruption and money laundering aren’t permitted in their political DNA.

At times when chief ministers across the country are worth thousands of crores, such humble stories like those of Vijayan paint a different picture altogether.
