Before the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election, Pawan Kalyan clearly mentioned that the collective purpose of the alliance is far superior than the individual needs of the three aligned parties. It was categorically communicated that there would be certain disturbances in the alliance, but the collective spirit of Andhra Pradesh is important.
In accordance with this, Pawan Kalyan has now spoken briefly about the methodology of the alliance, and also his positioning in the same.
Kalyan pointed out that he is very supportive of the alliance from the grassroots level. But this doesn’t mean he has completely surrendered to the alliance hierarchy and would be taking any kind of dominance beyond measure.
Kalyan said that he is very sincere and honest when it comes to supporting the alliance, but that doesn’t mean he would let his party or his own leadership be dissipated at any cost.
This could be considered as a strong indication that the equal prominence spirit is alive and kicking in the alliance. But at the end of the day when three parties are coming together for an alliance, there are bound to be disturbances and discrepancies here in there. Battling through these is what will consolidate the alliance, like the way it’s happening in AP now.
Another crucial point that must be noted here is that Pawan Kalyan and chief minister Chandrababu are still on very good terms and committed to a long-standing commitment. This is the positive reinforcement that the alliance needs if they’re to counter Jagan Mohan Reddy who is individually strong himself.
