Over the last few weeks, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu had been extensively referring to YS Jagan’s YCP as Goddali party which provoked gun culture in the state.
It turns out to be that this constant critique from Chandrababu Naidu has deeply hurt Jagan as he was very reciprocal with his reaction today as he tried to push the blame of Babu himself.
Jagan questioned Chandrababu which is the real Goddali party in Andhra Pradesh which empowered gun culture. He gave the implication that Chandrababu is the one who is behind the passing of three members from the YS family.
Jagan tried to play the blame card by saying “My family lost three members, including my grandfather Raja Reddy, father Rajasekhar Reddy and Babai Viveka.”
Jagan said Raja Reddy was murdered during Chandrababu’s tenure while Rajasekhar Reddy was killed in chopper crash after Babu warned he would see how YSR would set foot in assembly again(in 2009).
Shockingly with so many investigative points hinting at Avinash Reddy in the Viveka murder case, Jagan still tried to push the blame on Chandrababu by saying his government is enabling Dastagiri who is the main culprit in the case.
About the gun culture narrative, Jagan said Chandrababu’s brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna is accused of shooting two members in his house. “Who enable gun culture? Wasn’t it Balakrishna who shot to people? The Watchman of his house was also mowed to death a few days later.”
It appears that all the gun culture and Goddali party talk from TDP has gotten into the nerves of Jagan and he quite literally exploded in front of the media today with a series of highly inflammable comments.
