Liquor Scam Probe Reaches Jagan’s PA, Who’s Next?

The SIT probing the alleged liquor scam during the YSRCP regime in Andhra Pradesh has expanded its investigation further. As part of the ongoing probe, the SIT has now summoned K. Nageshwar Reddy, who serves as the personal assistant to YSRCP chief and former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He appeared before the investigation team after receiving official notices.

According to reports, the SIT questioned him for two consecutive days as part of a deeper inquiry into the case. The first day of questioning reportedly did not yield detailed answers, as he stated that he was not aware of several operational matters related to the case. He also reportedly said that he had no direct connection with the officials or leaders already arrested in the investigation.

He further stated that his role was limited to managing Jagan Mohan Reddy’s official schedule and programs, and that he was not involved in other administrative or financial matters.

However, the decision to continue questioning him for a second day has triggered speculation that the investigation may be widening further, and more arrests or summons could follow in the coming days.

Latest Telugu media reports allege that Nageshwar Reddy led a normal life before Jagan became Chief Minister and later gained significant influence during his tenure. However, there are also several allegations surrounding his role.

With the SIT gradually expanding the scope of the probe, the liquor scam case is once again gaining political attention in Andhra Pradesh, with further developments expected soon.
