What Is Kavitha’s Problem With Pawan’s Earnings?

Telangana Politics is completely around Pawan Kalyan for the last couple of weeks. Some Telangana Journalists and Kavitha are not letting the issue go even though there is no Public interest in it.

They are particularly snubbed after Pawan Kalyan revealed how he bought a car for Gadder when he asked for one saying he is struggling to commute.

Kavitha mentioned this in a Presser even today as well.

“Why is Pawan claiming now that he bought a car for Gaddar in the past? How many folk singers’ tunes have you copied and used in your movies? Have you ever supported folk singers or small-scale producers? All your money is of Telangana people because majority of your film collections are from Nizam area,” Kavitha said.

No one in Nizam or any part of the world gave a single rupee free for Pawan Kalyan. He served them a film and they bought it.

Pawan Kalyan familiarized Telangana Folk Songs by keeping them in his films and also benefited out of them. He took such songs to mainstream cinema when many used to ridicule Telangana Culture. That is also a service to Telangana even though he got benefitted.

The problem with leaders like Kavitha is that they still believe regional sentiment alone can create political mileage. But times are changing, and people today expect politicians to discuss real public issues with more maturity instead of repeatedly targeting film personalities for attention.
