Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu fulfilled a promise he made to 96 year old Satyanarayana, a devoted admirer from West Godavari district. A day after assuring him on social media that they would meet in Siddhantam, Chandrababu made sure the interaction happened despite his packed schedule.
After attending official programs, interacting with farmers and inspecting fields, the Chief Minister was preparing to leave. However, he remembered the promise given to Satyanarayana and immediately asked officials to bring the elderly man to his caravan.
During the meeting, Chandrababu spoke warmly with Satyanarayana and enquired about his health and family. The old man requested medical assistance for his ailing son and also appealed for drainage facilities in his village.
Chandrababu responded on the spot. He assured medical support for the son and directed officials to improve the drainage system in the village. On learning that Satyanarayana did not own a house, he also instructed the district administration to help construct one for him.
Satyanarayana recently became popular after comparing Chandrababu to the sacred Ganga and expressing his desire to see him in person. The heartfelt meeting has now become a wholesome moment, with many praising Chandrababu for keeping his word to a longtime admirer.
