Meta Apologises After Removing PM Modi’s Facebook Video

Meta has apologised after PM Narendra Modi’s video was briefly removed from Facebook. The company said the video was taken down by mistake due to a technical glitch and has now been restored.

The video, which carried PM Modi’s message to the youth amid the ongoing student protests, disappeared from the platform for a short time, triggering criticism on social media.

Meta clarified that the removal was not intentional and apologised for the error. The company said it acted quickly to restore the video once the issue was identified.

The incident has also drawn the Centre’s attention, with reports suggesting that government officials may seek an explanation from Meta over the accidental removal.
