Chief Minister Vijay is reportedly taking a huge step for school kids to beat protein and vitamin deficiencies in government schools kids. This will essentially mean that school kids will get a daily egg menu and weekly chicken biryani alongside.

The fact that the government is seriously considering the area of providing chicken biryani to government school kids on a weekly basis is kind of unheard of. This is the kind of proactive, public friendly governance that people expect expected from Vijay and the first place, and he certainly appears to be delivering the same.

According to the latest reports, School Education Minister Raj Mohan has proposed the idea, which is now under the Chief Minister’s consideration. If this gets implemented, then the government acceptance index of Tamil Nadu could be through the roof as well.

Earlier, Vijay had taken time and effort to visit government schools and inspect the drinking water, food and sanitary conditions here. Now he is taking a big step forward by proposing the idea of supplying chicken biryani in schools.
