Many of the YCP Senior Leaders were already projecting their sons as their next heirs. Some of them made them contest in 2019 elections and many were looking at 2024. But then, things are not looking rosy as many leaders are getting ‘son-stroke’.

Former Speaker Tammineni Sitaram, wife and their son, Chiranjeevi Nag were wanted in a Land-Grabbing case. Father and mother have got interim bail but the High Court refused anticipatory bail for Chiranjeevi Nag.

Seediri Appalraju’s son is facing a case in a hit and run incident while the former Minister is already arrested for trying to manipulate the case by framing his driver.

Perni Kittu, son of former Minister Perni Nani is already an accused in Fake land documents case.

The ED had arrested Former Minister Karumuri Nageshwara Rao’s son, Sunil in the AP Liquor Scam. Investigators claim he used his father’s political influence to secure favorable sub-contracts and handle illegal money flows. Two days ago, the SC rejected anticipatory bail to Karumuri Nageshwara Rao.

Only the last week, we have seen Jogi Ramesh’s DIL Meghana filed a Domestic Violence on the entire family including her husband, Rajeev. Rajeev was already arrested and released on bail in a land scam.

And now, former MLA Mustafa and his son, Basheer are in hiding in a case of kidnapping and assaulting a Tobacco businessman.

One of the biggest reasons for YSR Congress’s defeat in 2024 is that the public believed the party to be an anti-social party with everyone from the top leadership to cadre reeking arrogance.

The next generation leaders are also getting into serious controversies doing more damage to the party.
