Girl Who Abused PM Modi Says Sorry, Asks Nation to Forgive Her

The young woman whose video from the NEET Delhi protests went viral has now apologised to PM Narendra Modi and the people of India.

In a video shared on social media, she folded her hands and said she was sorry for using abusive words against the Prime Minister. She said she had gone to Connaught Place with a friend and later joined the protest. According to her, people around her asked her to speak on camera, and she made a mistake.

She said it was her first mistake and promised it would never happen again. She also apologised to the country and requested everyone to forgive her. In the video, she claimed she is 15 years old, but her age has not been officially confirmed.

The apology came hours after PM Modi shared a video message about the controversy. Without naming anyone, he said some youngsters had used abusive language against him and his late mother. Instead of expressing anger, Modi said they are “misguided children” and should be guided in the right direction. He said young people can make mistakes, and society should help them learn instead of spreading more hate.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police have registered a case over the viral video and started an investigation.

The girl’s apology and PM Modi’s message have now gone viral, with many people discussing the Prime Minister’s response of forgiveness instead of revenge.
