YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy toured Devarapalli in East Godavari district. During the visit, he met with farmers at the tobacco yard and held an interaction with them at the procurement center.
After that, he spoke to the media and questioned Chandrababu Naidu about lack of enumerative prices.
“చంద్రబాబు గారు… రైస్ తింటే క్యాన్సర్ వస్తుందని.. మిర్చి తింటే ఎసిడిటీ వస్తుందని.. మామిడి తింటే షుగర్ వస్తుందని.. పొగాకుతో ఆరోగ్యానికి మంచిది కాదు అంటూ రైతులకు ధరలు రాకుండా చేస్తున్నాడు,” Jagan said.
We all know Chandrababu Naidu is a health conscious person. The Chief Minister mentioned about his healthy eating habits many times in the Public.
Jagan is trying to spin that against Chandrababu and say the CM’s campaign is the reason for plummetting prices.
That aside, Jagan also alleges that Chandrababu Naidu saying Tobacco is harmful for health as the reason for lack of enumerative prices.
Chandrababu Naidu never spoke about Tobacco but it is universally accepted that Tobacco consumption is harmful for health.
Tomorrow if Jagan becomes the Chief Minister, will his government say Tobacco consumption is good for health and encourage the consumption?
Governments allow the sale of Tobacco and Liquor to fund Welfare Schemes via Taxes but do not encourage their consumption.
Something is really wrong with the script writers of Jagan. We can see the former Chief Minister constantly looking into papers and reading.
Everytime, Jagan comes out he delivers a blooper. That is more talked about leaving the entire subject. This time, it is about Tobacco Consumption.
