Balineni Trying Division Politics In Kutami?

The two main men of the NDA alliance in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan had been repeatedly emphasising the sustain of the alliance government. They have been making it very clear that the state needs the alliance to prosper, so they are ready to go any length for the same.

But there are certain instances when this narrative that was set by the two main men is not being followed at the lower level by a few individuals.

One such individual who has become a concern for the sanctity of the alliance is Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, who shifted from Jagan’s YCP to JSP after 2024 defeat. He is a distant relative of Jagan and spent many years with YSR Congress before shifting to Janasena.

His arrival itself was by many local TDP and Janina leaders, but as the saying goes, things can’t be predicted too ahead in politics. In accordance Srinivas Reddy maintained a low profile in JSP for the first few months after his arrival. But now he has started to open up as he is looking to make divisive politics within the alliance.

Yesterday, the former YCP leader sat in front of the Media and started making allegations against local TDP MLA from Ongole Damacharla Janardhan. He said the local MLA is filing cases against his group members and that needs to stop.

“I know how to save my groups and myself from these Police cases. This MLA is acting smart, thinking he is the sole proprietor of power. Receiving daily payments from his extortion business and is running sand mafia too. I know how to deal with this.” Balineni said.

Being in the alliance boundary, it is extremely condescending that Balineni is making such comments against the sitting TDP MLA. If this really is an attempt to fire at the TDP MLA from the shoulders of Janasena party, then this matter might required top scrutinising from Pawan Kalyan himself.

It is a fact that they are going to be certain differences within the alliance over a period of five years. But these public comments were a senior leader is making such allegations against ally TDP sitting MLA can send a very wrong signal to the public. It has to be seen, what would be the reaction of the alliance leadership to this saga.
