Botsa Deeply Hurt, Breaks Down Over Chinna Srinu’s Exit!

From the past couple of days, political circles in Andhra Pradesh have been discussing about the sudden exit of Majji Srinivasa Rao ( Chinna Srinu), a key leader of Vizianagaram district, from YSR Congress Party. Now his uncle and MLC Botsa Satyanarayana turned very emotional and appeared deeply hurt with the development.

Botsa broke down and was inconsolable during a party meeting earlier today in Garividi Mandal of Vizianagaram district. The local leaders and party workers were shocked seeing the former minister in such an emotional state while interacting with them.

A few party supporters consoled him as he tried to hold his tears while talking about his nephew’s unexpected political gambit.

While speaking at the event, Botsa Satyanarayana said that people who enjoyed top party positions left when times got tough. He felt sad that his own family member broke his trust. He said it is wrong to leave a party just when it needs support the most.

Botsa told the YCP cadre that true leaders stand with the party during hard times. He asked party workers to stay strong in Vizianagaram and work together for the upcoming local body elections. He promised that party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will support every honest worker.

Those who are aware of Vizianagaram political landscape know how Chinna Srinu wielded considerable clout among the masses and party supporters in the entire district and surrounding regions. Moreover, he is fewest leaders in Uttarandhra to have a direct access with YS Jagan.

Though Chinna Srinu never participated in a direct election, he was the pillar of support for Botsa’s family in the district. He was the one who managed all election related activities and held the cadre together to ensure that Botsa and his family members win elections in the last decade.

With his sudden exit, it will be a setback for not just YSR Congress party but also to Botsa’s political career as well. What is more shocking is that Chinna Srinu has now deflected to the ruling TDP which turned Vizianagaram a strong political fort in the 2024 with a clean sweep.
