Politicians generally have this habit of making wild comments that frequently go viral all over. Now it is the turn of Karnataka chief minister DK Shivakumar to repeat the phenomenon as he made a very tall comment about his governance today.
DK pointed out that American president Donald Trump appears to be copying his Karnataka government’s mechanism in the United States.
“Donald Trump is saying that he will give $5000 if he wins the midterm elections in the United States. This is similar to what the Congress Government is doing in Karnataka by providing direct financial benefit to the voters after the election.” DK commented.
The CM gave the implication that American president, Donald Trump copied his idea of providing financial benefits to voters by announcing $5000 reward to Americans if he wins midterms.
This is a pretty wild comment to make considering that Donald Trump might not know the very existence of the Karnataka state, let alone copying the policy making. Firstly, not everyone is sure that Trump would be standing on his word about providing $5000 assistance in the first place so DK claiming credit for it already is far too premature, netizens comment.
So this is a pretty farcical comment made by the South Indian chief minister, who went to say that Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Bihar are also copying his direct benefit transfer ideas.
