Amaravati @ Medical Hub City: CBN Going Big Again!

The government of Andhra Pradesh has been placing special emphasis on the development of Amaravati as the cross cultural hub of this date. Now there is a significant push developing data as the medical hub.

Earlier, several inauguration events involving medical operations from the likes of Basavatarakam Hospital and KIMS was held here. More hospitals are on the way already as Amaravati is being projected as the medical Centre of the state.

Now the latest news is that chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has inaugurated the famous LV Prasad eye Institute here in Amravati today.

Chandrababu Naidu said the LV Prasad Eye Institute’s proposed Amaravati centre will expand free eye-care services to people in remote and rural areas of Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking at the foundation programme in Tulluru, he said the institute, which operates 319 centres across four states, has come forward to provide comprehensive eye-care services from Amaravati.

Andhra Pradesh had been facing several complaints about lack of adequate medical supplies and institutions till now. This can be rectified only through strong medical infrastructure, and it appears that chief minister Chandrababu is actively focusing on the same now.
