Who Wins In Pulivendula Against YS Pramila?

For the last four or five decades, the Pulivendula constituency has been with the YS family. This applies to the legislative assembly election and also the local body election. But for the first time, the Pulivendula municipal election has been conquered by the TDP.

For the first time in history, the Pulivendula municipal election was secured by the TDP and this procedure was completed in a stupendous manner.

The TDP candidate, Geeta Kumari was able to successfully defeat YCP candidate YS Pramila by a tremendous margin of 14,000 votes in the election counting.

This is a pretty extraordinary number, considering the volume of the margin that was posted by the TDP candidate. A seat that was historically with Jagan’s family has completely lopsided and turned in TDP’s favour.

This will go down as one of the historical achievements for the TDP, not just in this segment, but also across the entire Kadapa region. The public was clearly with the TDP in the legislative election, and this is continuing in the local body election too.

Compares to 2019, Jagan’s majority slipped by nearly 30,000 votes in 2024, and this is further followed by this big victory for the TDP in the municipal election. This is going to create a new problem to ponder upon for Jagan in his own bastion.
