Former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya has been arrested by the police in connection with a kidnap case. Going into details, three people from a family were kidnapped last night. The family members immediately dialled the cops. The police went on high alert and the kidnappers were said to have information of the police alert.
At Narsingi, the kidnappers released the hostages but near Vikarabad, the police arrested the kidnappers. The victims are identified as Praveen Rao and his brother Naveen and Sunil. This morning the police reached Praveen Rao’s residence and questioned him regarding the kidnap. In this he opened about the land dispute between him and Akhila Priya family.
The victim Praveen Rao and Akhila Priya family members have a dispute on the 50 acres of land located in Hafeezpet. In way to threaten them Akhila Priya’s husband Bhargav Ram is said to have planned this kidnap.
The police arrested Akhila Priya and she was booked under six cases. But Bhargav Ram is on the run. The police have launched a hunt for him and at the borders of Telangana-AP, the police were alerted.
