In a step ahead towards developing government schools in Andhra Pradesh, CM YS Jagan ordered the CBSE syllabus to all students from 1st to the 7th standards in government schools. This new syllabus will be implemented for teaching from this academic year.
CM Jagan reviewed Manabadi, Naadu Nedu, Vidya Kanuka, and other schemes with Educational minister Adimulapu Suresh. Jagan also ordered to change the curriculum of 8th to 10th standard to CBSE by 2024, with one class each year.
As a part of Vidyakanuka, YS Jagan ordered to add English and Telugu dictionaries to it. The CM further ordered to maintain the quality of government school books on par with that of private schools. He ordered to provide dictionaries to the teachers as well. Jagan reiterated that the quality and service should be good for laptops given under the Ammavodi scheme.
Jagan directed the first phase of Naadu Nedu works to be completed by the end of March. He asked the officials to see that the school designs should be good and pleasant looking. Jagan asked the officials to not compromise on providing basic needs and also directed them to upload the completed school photos on the website. Jagan ordered them to start the second phase works as well and directed them to overcome the hurdles they faced in the first phase.
