Former CM and present Opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu has vented out his frustration on the unassuming public during his municipal election campaign in Vijayawada on Sunday. The TDP chief rebuked the people for not raising their voices for Amaravati.
“You people are ready to go to Bengaluru and Chennai to work as daily wagers, but you are not ready to save Amaravati. Where is your pride? Where is your determination? Time has come for me to question the people residing in this region. I’m questioning all of you. You drank the water of this land. Don’t you understand the issue?,” Babu fired.
The opposition leader further lambasted the crowd, saying, “you people take Rs 2,000 and vote for them (YSRCP). Be prepared to be their servant now.” After his controversial “Gaddi Peekuthava?” speech in Vizag, Babu’s harsh language and frustration in today’s Vijayawada campaign have kicked off a new storm in AP politics.
