Looks like the BJP and Jana Sena Party are heading for a split. On the eve of the formation day last week, party chief Pawan Kalyan made sensational comments on Telangana BJP and added that it is because of their attitude, they had to extend support to TRS candidate in the MLC elections.
On Monday Jana Sena official spokesperson Pothina Mahesh made similar comments that it is because of the alliance with BJP, Jana Sena had lost the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation elections and the people are not accepting this coalition.
“Due to the pact with BJP, minorities have distanced themselves from Jana Sena. We are preparing a report on this election result and will be placing it before the party high command,” said Mahesh who addressed the media in Vijayawada.
Adding he said, “We had expectations on the West zone but we lost there. We were by the side of people during Corona lockdown time and fought for the people’s issue. Yet we lost. It takes five years to convert the loss in poll to victory and I wonder what were the mistakes done by our party candidates.”
Questioning BJP, Mahesh asked did any of their leaders extended support to Jana Sena candidates? “In two more days we will be submitting the report to our party high command and the party will also take a decision on alliance with BJP in future,” said Mahesh.
These comments coming from the Jana Sena official spokesperson shows the mood of the party and if the report has BJP’s non-cooperation, then it might be the end of roads.
