KCR Tested Positive For Covid-19; Four Other CMs Also

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to an official note from the Chief Secretary on Monday evening.

Following mild symptoms of Covid-19 after campaigning for TRS candidate Nomula Bhagat contesting for the Nagarjunasagar bypoll, he has been in isolation at his Erravalli farmhouse in Siddipet district for the last few days.

Telangana government Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar confirmed that KCR tested positive for Corona. KCR addressed a public meeting in Halia just a few days ago. Nomula Bhagat also tested positive for Covid-19.

Also, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, Karnataka CM Yediyurappa, TamilNadu CM Palaniswamiand Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath have also been tested positive.

Currently, KCR is said to be having has mild symptoms and has been isolated in his farmhouse in Erravali. And a team of doctors are monitoring his health. Telangana reported 4,009 new Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths today.

As cases are skyrocketing in the country, the centre has just announced that everyone above the age of 18 will be eligible to get vaccinated from May 1.
