Bowing down to heavy pressure from Opposition and all quarters, AP state government has finally conceded. AP state government has postponed the Intermediate exams in the state.
State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh has announced that the exams have been postponed due to Covid-19 surge. He said that the opinions of students, parents and directions of the High Court have been considered and the exams have been postponed. Suresh said that the exams would be rescheduled once the Covid-19 comes to control. The new date and schedule of the exams would be declared later, Suresh said.
Minister admitted that the students and parents were worried over the growing Covid-19 cases in the state and the country. He said that the government has considered the people’s opinion and deferred the exams.
