In the Etala Rajender episode, TRS chief and CM KCR had executed his plan to drop him from the ministry with perfection. After stripping off ministry, many political experts and the TRS party believed that Etala Rajender would resign as the MLA and go for the by-election but to their utter disappointment, it did not happen.
As Etala is not stepping down and is reluctant to do so, TRS party is said to be hatching another plan and this time to disqualify him as MLA. Etala’s interviews with various news channels and YouTube channels are getting a lot of traction and this is causing a worry to the TRS leadership. Accordingly video clips of Etala’s comments in interviews and comments on newspapers are being gathered and they might be produced before the Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy as proof. Then TRS party would be putting a demand to disqualify Etala as MLA.
Simultaneously the TRS is also looking at the legal aspects of disqualification. If Etala goes to the High Court after disqualification, what consequences would be seriously considered. Inputs and suggestions are taken down from the legal experts too. In parallel, the TRS party is laying a focus on the public representatives of Huzurabad constituency.
What’s surprising is, TRS trouble-shooter Harish Rao is looking after this whole situation. He already held a round of meeting with ground level TRS leaders in the Huzurabad constituency and is said to have taken their opinion on Etala’s episode.
