With Etala Rajender tendering his resignation and Telangana Assembly speaker Pocharam approving it, the by-election should be held within six months as per ECI norm. Till date TRS chief KCR did not comment a word on the Etala episode and from the TRS sources we hear that he has laid focus on Huzurabad.
According to the party insiders, KCR wants to give a strong fight in the inevitable Huzurabad by-poll. By doing so and in case if TRS candidate wins, KCR wants to shut the dissent within the party and it would act as a final warning to all leaders in TRS.
Subsequently KCR is in search of a suitable candidate who can make Etala sweat to win the by-poll. The TRS boss is eyeing a leader from Reddy community who can shell out money for the poll campaign.
On the other hand TRS Working President KTR is luring Congress leader Koushik Reddy. This Congress young leader faced a defeat in the 2018 elections and recently when KTR visited Karimnagar, Koushik personally met KTR and made some positive comments against the TRS leader.
T-PCC expressed upset over Koushik Reddy’s comment but he issued clarification that he is not distancing from the party. Nevertheless, anything can happen once the by-poll notification is out!
