Under Construction Flyover Collapses In Vizag

In a shocking development, an under construction flyover near Anakapalle, Vizag collapsed, claiming the lives of two people. The fatal accident happened while the construction workers were working on a side beam of the flyover bridge.

Two vehicles- a car and a truck which were beneath the under construction flyover were smashed completely. The two people who were travelling in the car were smashed to death.

Rescue operations team is at the accident spot now and they are examining if there is anyone else trapped beneath the collapsed flyover bridge.

The flyover was a part of the widening of the six-lane stretch between Anandapuram and Anakapalle. No new casualties were reported other than the two deaths. More details about the accident are yet to emerge.
