Andhra Pradesh’s polling period is officially over at the stroke of 6 PM. No more entries will be allowed at the queues henceforth but those who are already in the queue will be permitted to vote however long it might take. As of 5 PM, the polling turnout was at 68% which is a healthy number. Now the anticipation is on whether the final poll turnout will touch the 85% mark which is higher than the 2019 mark of 79.74%.
