TTD has issued a high alert to pilgrims following a leopard sighting on the Tirumala ghat road. The incident occurred when a leopard startled pilgrims traveling from Tirupati to Tirumala in a car. Though the leopard disappeared into the forest, TTD urged caution for devotees using both pedestrian routes and ghat roads to Tirumala due to common leopard sightings in the Seshachalam forests.
