Jaggavarapu Venugopal Reddy, husband of Eluru’s East Digavalli Sarpanch, made a Rs 30 crore bet that YCP would win the election. After YCP lost, he left home, and bettors took his belongings. Returning home, he was upset and committed suicide by drinking pesticide at his farm, leaving behind a tragic tale of financial despair.
